    车延高，1956年生，山东莱阳人。中国作家协会会员。中国诗歌学会常务理事。著有诗集《日子就是江山》《把黎明惊醒》《向往温暖》《车延高自选集》《灵感狭路相逢》《诗眼看武汉》《车延高诗选》《回到七岁》，散文集《醉眼看李白》，随笔《微言心录》等。曾获鲁迅文学奖。


傻

蝴蝶是会飞的花
蜜蜂不是
可它在花朵之间走亲戚
每次都偷走一些蜜
花朵很傻
一直没发现

Foolish

Butterflies are like flowers that fly
Bees are not
They fly through petals to visit their family
Every time taking a bit of honey as they go
Flowers are so foolish
Always unaware


伤心

柜子、桌子、板凳很老实
是木头做的
在我家里住，一动不动

爸爸说它们以前住的地方叫森林
里边有狗熊、老虎、花豹和小蘑菇
树叶可以和风说悄悄话

搬进来以后
就把那些朋友弄丢了
它们孤独，很伤心
就成了哑巴
一次也没笑过

Heart Broken

The wooden table, chair, and wardrobe
Are all so quiet
They’ve sat still in my home for ages  

Dad tells me they used to be in the forest
Where bears, tigers, leopards, and mushrooms live
Where tree leaves share gossip with the wind

They’ve lost all their friends
Ever since moving here
Now lonely, their hearts shattered
They don’t talk
Nor do they laugh at all


找回来

月亮把脸贴在玻璃上

爷爷叹口气说
真老了！好好的头发全掉光喽

弟弟说
爷爷，您把头发掉在哪了
我跟姐姐去帮您找回来

Get It Back

Through the window gleams the moon’s face

Grandpa sighs and says
Your old pa has lost all his hair

My brother asks
Where did you lose your hair, grandpa?
My sister and I are going to get it back


笨

老师说植物也是生命
家里每次杀西瓜我都怕它疼
我就悄悄告诉它
你把瓜瓤变成苦的
人就不吃你了
西瓜很笨
一直不会点头

What a Fool

My teacher says plants have a life too
Watermelons must hurt when cut
So I tell a watermelon
You should turn yourself bitter
So people won’t eat you as they do
But the watermelon is a fool
It simply can’t say yes or no


浪花和礁石

那些浪花一定很爱礁石
不停地亲他
可他们为什么总不结婚呢
是不是要等海枯石烂

The Waves and the Rock

The waves must be in love with the rock
Throwing kisses at him all the time
Why don’t they just get married?

Must we wait until the sea runs dry and the rock crumbles?


谁敢偷奶奶的东西

弟弟指指老照片
以前的奶奶真好看
为什么现在不一样呢

奶奶就笑
说：奶奶的漂亮被岁月偷走喽
我听懂了一点点

弟弟说：谁敢偷奶奶的东西
我叫警察叔叔抓他

Who Dares to Steal from Grandma

Little brother points at the old picture and says
Grandma was so pretty
Why isn’t she anymore

Grandma smiles and replies
“Time has stolen my beauty"
I think I kind of understand

Little brother says, “Whoever dares to steal from grandma
I’ll report him to the police.”


桥墩

桥墩才是大力士
是最棒的举重运动员
运动员举重，挺一会就放下来
桥墩多厉害
站在水里
一直举着

The Bridge Pier

It is the bridge pier who is the true Hercules
The greatest weightlifter of them all
Standing in the water
Holding up the bridge forever
Unlike other athletes
Who hold up weights for no more than a minute
